DMCA & Copyright Policy

Forgely respects intellectual-property rights and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. This policy explains how to report a bot or content hosted on Forgely that copies a work you own the rights to, and what happens next.

1. When this applies

If you believe a bot, codebase, template, branding, text, or other material hosted on or generated through Forgely copies or infringes a work that you own the copyright to — for example, someone has cloned a bot you created and own the rights to — you can submit a takedown request and we will review it.

2. How to file a notice

Send a written notice to forgely.discord@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request”, or open a ticket in our support server. Your notice must include:

your name and contact details (email, and physical address if requested);
identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, and proof you own or are authorised to act for it;
identification of the infringing bot or material on Forgely, with enough detail for us to locate it (such as the bot name, link, or owner);
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, the law, or an agent;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
your physical or electronic signature.

3. What we do

When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material, take down the bot, and notify the bot owner. As described in our Terms, taking a bot down may delete its data and cancel its premium subscribers (with refunds only available inside the 7-day window from purchase).

4. Counter-notice

If you are a bot owner whose material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same contact above. It must identify the removed material, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your contact details, and your consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue the matter further within a reasonable time.
